The first encounter with porn determines the behavior of men
Once you found a videotape without a cover in your parents’ room, you chose your fate.
American psychologists from the University of Nebraska found out how a man’s behavior is influenced by the age at which he first saw porn.
Scientists asked 330 men from 17 to 54 at what age they first encountered pornography, and whether it was by chance or intentionally. Then they answered 46 questions about standards of behavior.
The average age of respondents was 13 years old; however, one participant has watched the adult video at the age of five, and another, who was unaware of porn until the age of 26.
The majority (43%) noted that they accidentally watched a piece of the film; others (33%) were drawn to it by themselves. Another group of people (17%) was being forced to watch. And the rest forgot how it happened.
The researchers came to this conclusion that the earlier a boy watches porn, the more he seeks dominance over women in the future; those who were late in getting porn, become womanizers.
Scientists were surprised by this observation: psychologists expected that “early” porn watchers would be more tolerant of both behavioral models.
