Scientists: a third of girls are dating for a free meal
While men are expecting to sleep (with them)
The study, published in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science, claims that a third of all girls who agreed to have a date do it to visit a restaurant, but not out of interest to a man.
There is even invented a special term for such dates - foodie calls. The authors of the study, Brian Collison, Jennifer Howell, and Trista Harig, emphasize that women consider such behavior socially acceptable. This, in their opinion, is a typical demonstration of the “dark triad” of personality traits (i.e., psychopathy, Machiavellianism, narcissism).
However, this is not so bad; Brian Collison continues to speculate because it is these individuals who are more likely to send nudes and have sex for one night. However, they are also inclined to imitate orgasm.
So, by arranging a date in Tinder, be careful: no McDonald’s until first sex.
