Scientists explained why elderly women cease to be interested in sex
American scientists conducted a study and found out the reason why women have decreasing interest in sex with age. The work of the University of Pittsburgh staff is described in an article published in The Journal of Sex Research.
As noted, the experiment involved 36 women over 60 years of age who had a decreased libido. Specialists asked them to fill out questionnaires. It turned out that most often a loss of interest in sex was associated with erectile dysfunction in their husbands. As a result, sex brought less and less pleasure, and conversations on this subject became unpleasant. As a result, interest in proximity declined significantly.
Meanwhile, according to scientists, not only elderly people but also young people refuse to have intimate relationships. Sexologists believe that sex has ceased to be perceived by young people as something forbidden and special, so boys and girls are not particularly keen on sex. Other experts suggested that young people lose interest in intimacy, as young people in our time remain infantile longer.
